OCVIBE Unveils Plans for Concert Hall Opening in Anaheim 2027

OCVIBE has revealed the design for a new 5,000 seat live entertainment venue planned for the district surrounding the Honda Center in Anaheim. Scheduled to open in early 2027, the OCVIBE Concert Hall will add a mid size performance space to the area’s growing entertainment footprint and strengthen Orange County’s appeal as a destination for touring artists and live events.

Designed by the global architecture firm Populous, the venue will feature a flexible layout capable of hosting concerts, comedy, televised productions, esports, speaking engagements and private events. The hall will complement the 18,000 seat Honda Center, which is currently undergoing a major renovation as part of the broader OCVIBE development.

The new venue will also be part of a multi stage performance ecosystem that includes the planned return of the historic Golden Bear. Together, the spaces will allow artists to grow within the district, from intimate shows to arena headlining performances.

The concert hall will feature advanced acoustics, clear sightlines and a state of the art sound system from L-Acoustics. Artist amenities will include dedicated dressing rooms, private suites and backstage facilities designed to support touring performers and their crews.

The venue will debut as part of OCVIBE’s first phase in 2027, which will also introduce Katella Commons, a chef driven market hall, along with office space, Urban Park and additional gathering areas designed to activate the district year round. Additional details, including the venue’s official name and programming lineup, will be announced in the coming months.
