On December 22, 2025, Ladies Touch Inc., in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department South Los Angeles Station, the West Athens Westmont Task Force, and a coalition of nonprofit and community organizations, will host The Heart of Giving Holiday Event in South Los Angeles.
The free community celebration will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the South Los Angeles Station front parking lot, located at 1310 W. Imperial Highway, Los Angeles. All community members are invited to attend.
Designed to provide more than seasonal cheer, the event is a coordinated effort to deliver essential resources, meaningful support, and connection for families in need during the holiday season.
“We believe every family deserves to feel the warmth, generosity, and hope of the holiday season,” said Ewanda Jackson, founder of Ladies Touch Inc. “The Heart of Giving Holiday Event is about dignity, community care, and showing up for each other when it matters most.”
What to Expect
Attendees can look forward to a festive and resource-filled afternoon, including free holiday essentials such as food, clothing, and gifts for adults and children. The event will also feature hot meals, cotton candy, and sweet treats, along with music and a welcoming community atmosphere.
Families will have the opportunity to enjoy a holiday photo experience with Santa and elves, presented by LuvMe, as well as access to a complimentary gift-wrapping station for donated items. Outreach tables hosted by nonprofit organizations and service providers will offer additional community resources and support.
Registration Required for Free Items
Due to high demand and to ensure fair distribution, advance registration is required for families wishing to receive gifts, clothing, food packages, and access to the Santa photo experience. Registration details are available through Ladies Touch Inc. and participating partner organizations.
Community Support and Toy Donations Needed
Organizers note that the need for children’s toys is greater than ever this year. Community members, supporters, and businesses are encouraged to contribute by donating toys through the event’s official Amazon Wish List, which supports direct distribution to children and families in attendance.
Featured Talent and Community Supporters
The event will include appearances and hands-on participation from a number of community figures, including Celebrity Chef Ewanda Jackson, Dusty the Rapper, Ranella Ferrer, Kara Saun, Novi Brown, and Sufe Bradshaw.
