Westside Ballet of Santa Monica kicks off a magical holiday season with an exclusive Nutcracker experience featuring world-renowned principal dancer Tiler Peck of New York City Ballet.
For one weekend only—November 29–30—Peck steps back onto the stage where she trained as a young girl, performing the Sugar Plum Fairy in Southern California’s longest-running Nutcracker, now in its 52nd year.
This year, Peck’s return highlights the impact of accessible arts education—an ongoing mission of Westside Ballet, which provides more than $100,000 in scholarships annually, welcomes dancers under a non-audition policy, and offers free Nutcracker performances to 1,000 Title I students each year.
Peck, who recently premiered her PBS documentary Tiler Peck: Suspending Time and stars in Amazon’s ballet series Étoile, reunites with the company’s young dancers—including performers from the free Dance to Dreams scholarship program.
