Castle Park in Riverside is kicking off the holiday season with an all-new celebration, “A Royal Holiday at Castle Park,” running Fridays through Sundays from November 28 through December 28. Families are invited to step into the Royal Holiday Village, a festive winter wonderland filled with sparkling lights, live entertainment, seasonal treats, and classic rides for all ages.
The Royal Holiday Village brings Christmas tree lighting moments, magical snowfall, photo opportunities, and live performances throughout the day. Holiday rides include the Holiday Express Train, Antique Cars, and the Carousel, where Santa and friends will make special appearances. Kids can dive into hands-on fun with snowball play, ornament decorating, and writing letters to Santa or local service members.
Daily entertainment features handbell performers, youth choirs, strolling carolers, Duke’s Ugly Sweater Contest, and the lively Holiday Hop Dance Party. From 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, guests can enjoy an evening stroll through illuminated displays, ride the Holiday Express, and indulge in festive treats such as Santa’s Cookie Cake, Frosty’s Funnel Cake, and Rudolph’s Red-Nose Cocoa.
Children 12 and under visiting with Santa receive a special holiday prize, and all Castle Park Annual Passholders enjoy complimentary admission. The first 50 Annual Passholder children each day will also receive a “Nice List” coupon for a free treat.
Guests who purchase the Royal Holiday Experience ticket will have full access to park rides and unlimited mini golf during regular hours, along with entry to Holiday Village activities beginning at 3:00 PM. The ticket also includes access to Santa photo ops and Duke’s Holiday Hop Dance Party.
