Heretic’s Nosferatu: Eau de Macabre was born from a collaboration with Focus Features to celebrate Robert Eggers’ new adaptation of the classic vampire tale. Perfumer Douglas Little imagined what the Carpathian night might smell like—wet stone, thunder-charged air, and the fading sweetness of wilted lilacs. The result is a fragrance both chilling and magnetic, blending lilac, ambrette seed, violet, petrichor, and vegan ambergris. It evokes cold marble corridors and candlelit crypts, where every note lingers like a whispered secret.
