The Daytime Beauty Awards (DBAs) continue to honor the science behind beauty, health, and wellness, recognizing the minds and methods that shape how we look, feel, and live.
Today, the DBAs proudly announce Dr. Carl Truesdale as the honoree for Outstanding Achievement in Medicine. He will accept at the 7th ceremony set for Sunday, September 21st at Grand Venue in Los Angeles.
Beverly Hills-based, double board-certified Dr. Carl Truesdale blends artistry and science to deliver natural, transformative results. His practice prioritizes inclusivity, making advanced facial procedures accessible to people of all backgrounds. A Morehouse College alum with medical training from the University of Pennsylvania and surgical residency at the University of Michigan, he opened Truesdale Facial Plastic Surgery in 2020. A portrait artist and pianist, Dr. Truesdale brings the same creativity and precision to his work in the OR. Through mentorship, his reality series Beyond the Surface, the Artisa Skincare line, and charitable initiatives, he extends his impact far beyond surgery.

The Daytime Beauty Awards will benefit the Los Angeles Mounted Platoon (501c3), supporting the care, training, and wellbeing of these remarkable horses. Beyond their work in service, the horses bring comfort, mentorship, and joy to underserved youth, first responders, and communities across Los Angeles.
