Chin Chin Sunset Plaza to Close After 41 Years; Restaurant To Auction Equipment

After nearly 41 years as a fixture on West Hollywood’s Sunset Strip, Chin Chin—the beloved Chinese-American eatery frequented by celebrities including the Kardashians and Britney Spears—has announced it will be closing its Sunset Plaza location.

In the wake of the closure, more than 50 pieces of high-quality kitchen equipment from the landmark restaurant will be made available through a nationwide online auction hosted by RestaurantEquipment.Bid, the country’s largest marketplace for pre-owned restaurant equipment.
