Get ready for an adrenaline-packed celebration of extreme sports as X Games Salt Lake City 2025 takes over the Utah State Fairpark and Event Center from June 27–29. The 74th edition of this legendary event promises three electrifying days of BMX, Moto X, and Skateboarding with the world’s top athletes delivering gravity-defying performances.

As the official energy drink partner, Monster Energy unleashes a stacked lineup of elite action sports competitors aiming for X Games glory.

Women’s Skateboard Park Kicks Things Off

The weekend opens with serious heat in the Women’s Skateboard Park final. All eyes will be on 15-year-old Arisa Trew from Australia, already a three-time X Games gold medalist and Olympic champion. Challenging her reign are Cocona Hiraki from Japan, an Olympic silver medalist, and Ruby Lilley from Maryland, who’s back with a vengeance after earning silver last time.

BMX Street and Dirt: Rivalries and Repeats

Friday also features the BMX Street final, where Monster Energy swept the podium in Ventura 2024. Gold medalist Kevin Peraza, silver winner Jordan Godwin, and bronze finisher Lewis Mills return, but they’ll face heavy fire from Germany’s Felix Prangenberg and Aussie powerhouse Boyd Hilder.

In BMX Dirt, New Jersey’s Brady Baker is gunning for a three-peat, while competitors like Mike Varga, Ryan Williams, and Daniel Sandoval aim to upset the reigning champ.

Vert Skating and Moto X Best Trick Wrap Day One

The Men’s Skateboard Vert final features gold medalist Tom Schaar going head-to-head with seven-time champ Elliot Sloan and Japan’s trick master Moto Shibata.

Capping off Friday, Moto X Best Trick lights up the evening. Aussie legend Jackson Strong leads the charge against Japanese icon Taka Higashino and newcomers like Julien Vanstippen and Genki Watanabe.

Saturday: BMX, Skate Park, and More Moto Mayhem

Saturday kicks off with Men’s BMX Park, where Peraza returns to chase gold. Expect fierce competition from Argentina’s Jose Torres, France’s Anthony Jeanjean, and California’s Daniel Sandoval.

Then it’s time for the Men’s Skateboard Park, with Schaar seeking redemption after a fourth-place finish last year. He’ll be up against Kieran Woolley, Trey Wood, and a field of heavy hitters.

In Women’s Skateboard Vert, Arisa Trew returns, joined by Brazil’s Raicca Ventura and Japan’s Asahi Kaihara. Trew is also set to make history in the first-ever Women’s Skateboard Vert Best Trick contest.

Later, Men’s Skateboard Street takes center stage with defending champ Nyjah Huston, who has 15 X Games golds to his name. He’s up against Giovanni Vianna, Filipe Mota, and veterans like Kelvin Hoefler and Matt Berger.

Rounding out the day is the BMX Dirt Best Trick showdown. Returning podium sweepers Ryan Williams, Brady Baker, and Jaie Toohey face off again, with young gun Kaden Stone and high-flying Mike Varga aiming to crash the party.

The day ends with the fan-favorite Moto X Best Whip, featuring style legends like Julien Vanstippen and Genki Watanabe.

Sunday: The Grand Finale

The final day kicks off with the Men’s Skateboard Vert Best Trick, a crowd-pleaser featuring Elliot Sloan, Moto Shibata, and Tom Schaar, fresh off a standout Thrasher video part.

In Women’s Skateboard Street Best Trick, rising star Liz Akama goes for her first gold, after already stacking six X Games medals and Olympic silver.

Then it’s time for the Men’s Skateboard Street Best Trick, where Huston looks to expand his medal empire, challenged by Brazil’s Filipe Mota.

The event also spotlights the return of Women’s BMX Park after its debut last year. Expect big things from Germany’s Kim Lea Mueller, Chile’s Macarena Perez Grasset, and Japan’s Nene Naito.

And finally, X Games Salt Lake City 2025 will close with a bang at the Dave Mirra BMX Park Best Trick event. Monster’s Kevin Peraza, Mike Varga, and Daniel Sandoval return after their 2024 podium sweep, alongside stars like Ryan Williams, Bryce Tryon, and Jeremy Malott.
