Helen Woodward Animal Center
We love the team at HWAC. Our annual award show, the Hollywood Beauty Awards benefits their work every year. They're not just an animal shelter; they're an animal center, that encompasses multiple programs including pet adoption! They help place animals after natural disasters, from hurricanes to fires. Beautiful dogs and puppies are available through their San Diego pet adoption program. Every pet in our adoption program has received a medical examination, spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, tons of TLC (tender loving care) and a microchip.
Animal Hope and Wellness in Sherman Oaks rescues abused dogs, including ones about to get tortured during the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China. Marc Ching founded the 501(c)3 non-profit organization, focusing solely on rescuing abused and neglected animals, providing full rehabilitation services. LA Animal Services
This Friday, March 22nd, head on over to Subaru Sherman Oaks where you can take a new pet home during a mobile adoption event featuring adoptable dogs and cats from LA Animal Services Centers. This adoption event will run from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Subaru Sherman Oaks located at 5747 Van Nuys Blvd., Sherman Oaks, CA 91401. Sherman Oaks Subaru will also be honored by Brenda Barnette, LA Animal Services General Manager, for their 2018 donation, which funded 300 adult dog adoptions during our 4th of July, Veteran's Day and Christmas adoption events in 2018.
