Petco released a new video in their "Think Adoption First" video series starring actress and pet parent Jamie Chung.
Chung's video chronicles the wonderful impact that her adopted pet pooch, Ewok, has had on her life. The new video is part of Petco's larger Think Adoption First initiative, affirming the company's commitment to supporting pet adoption efforts and encouraging pet parents to consider embracing a homeless pet in place of purchasing one.
"Opening my heart and home to an animal in need was the obvious choice and the special bond Ewok and I share is more than I could've dreamed," said Jamie Chung. "Ewok has definitely changed my life in the best way possible and seeing his playful personality develop has been so heartwarming. I encourage everyone who is thinking of welcoming a pet into their family to adopt, not shop."
Petco's monthly in-store adoption events help unite pets with their forever families and also provide new pet parents with tips on how to welcome a new furry friend into their home.
