Box Office: Will Smith Is Back On Top With “Focus” At #1

According to Rentrak, Universal’s ‘Fifty Shades of Grey‘ remains a staggering worldwide phenomenon with $486.2 million to date after adding nearly $50 million from 60 global territories this weekend.  The modestly budgeted erotic drama is expected to cross the $500 million mark later this week making it one of the most profitable films released over the past year.  Notably, with $139.1 million to date, Warner Bros.’ ‘American Sniper‘ now ranks as the highest grossing Clint Eastwood directed film internationally with a total that is closing in on the $500 million threshold worldwide.
